I’m Dominique Wyse

and I'm so glad you're here. Since I've been a little girl, I have been creating, writing, and drawing. I’ve always been an etreprenuer too— making lemonade stands, making jewlery for myself and friends, coming up with a new invention of some kind. I always loved creating, dreaming big, and a good project.

I am a believer of Jesus and I have built my business and creativity on the foundation of faith. My work is an act of worship and a prayer.

I played soccer for 15 years and I grew up in a small town on Lake Michigan in Benton Harbor, MI but as of May 2022, my husband Ben and I moved to the great + warm South Carolina. And in September, 2025 we welcomed our first baby boy, Nokoa. I then became a work from home, stay at home mom! Being a mother is such a joy and our son is such a silly, wonderful, happy, goose and I would love for you to meet him one day.

My favorite thing to do is host. A good themed party, with laughter, and joy filling a room makes me so happy. And that’s where photography fills my heart so much. And believe it or not, i prefer a thunderstorm over a sunny day. There is something so necessary about a loud, dark, thunder filled day that resets my nervous system.

If you ever want ot catch me in my natrual habitat, you can always find me at a coffee shop, a thrift store, or going to a market with my family, or strolling through crafts stores for fun— it seriously sparks so much inspiration for me. I love design. Fashion, interiors, graphic. Honestly, art of any kind is my thing.

  • My love language is gifts and words. I LOVE absolutely love when a client gifts me cards or personalized gifts. I feel so lit up inside. And when a person shares kind words with me, it ignites love in my heart.

    But also, part of my love language is gift giving! I love to make people feel seen, loved, and noticed.

  • As a kid, whenever we had class projects that asked, “what do you want to be when you grow up?” my response was always, “Artist + Professional Soccer Player”

  • California! The light in Cali is amazing. Something about it so so golden and pure which is funny because, smog.

  • Iced Vanilla latte ( preferably w/ oat milk) or cold brew with a yummy sweet top

my philosophy

This work, my photography, is human-led with a humanistic perspective.

Before the title of photographer, I am a human. I feel, exist, and love. Our humanity is our common ground. I empathize with your story. The human experience, time, love, laughter, joy, life, these are all felt. Where you feel, I create. Where you hope to make and keep your memories is where your art is created.

My heart's desire is to show the world in ways unknown to the plain eye. In all of my work and creativity, I hope to share perspective, joy, and a sense of home. Storytelling is in my vein and I hope to create a story that tells yours in whatever it is that I'm making for you. When I create something for you, my goal is to exude honest emotions— my hope is to tell the story of you. If it’s your wedding, a custom painting, a branding session, or family photos, I pour out my heart and soul into creating a space for you to exist and feel.
