One day, in late May, Arianna’s boyfriend (who I hadn’t yet met) DM’d me on instagram to ask if potentially, could I come to California because he was going to propose and ask if I could document it. I said, “100%, I’m there!” And I bought my ticket that day. A couple months later, I flew back out to celebrate their love with them and I may have brought my camera along too. Documenting their commitment to loving one another was one of the highlights of my year. Also, just a photographer geeking out right now… the LIGHT in California is absolutely insane. It’s like no other light in the world— creating rich and deep tones. Take a look with me.
The day was slow and easy. Pure and holy. Arianna + Kayton share a love that’s like no other. It’s bright and colorful. Steady and wonderful. Being their friend, yes is a huge advantage to seeing how they love, but observing their love to tell their story (I’m tearing up as I write this) you know that God designed their love.
