Since I can remember, I have read Shel Silverstein and Junie B. Jones, over and over falling in love with cadence and rhythm of words. Reading, repetition, and creativity sparked inside and it became a part of who I am. Writing has allowed me to share the borders of my testimony that no one could see by simply looking at me.
