The Kennedy’s Fall Mountain Elopement - Franklin, NC
Sarah was all about feelings. One of the most beautiful things I noticed about her being is her eye contact, her love for the unfolding and candid moments— not the one’s where it’s like “let’s get a candid photo” but the one’s that truly unfold themselves. I hope you are able to see the moments just like I witnessed them. Authentic, life-giving, bright and warm imagery turned fairytale.
Sarah + Matthew gathered with their closest family and best of friends in the heart of Franklin in a quaint mountain celebration of their love story. With a home nestled at the top of a mountain in Franklin, North Carolina, the fall colors beamed with warmth and the October liveliness spoke depths of what was true and authentic.
And let me tell you a story about this day. A few nights before the wedding, I had a dream about this mountain elopement. A beautiful dream. I had a dream that I pulled up to the mountainous location, closed my car door, and breathed in the fall crispness and sobbed at the beauty. Not even joking, there was a moment before the ceremony, I seen her dressed posed on the arch and I cried. It was heavenly and beautiful. It was God’s reminder that this day was worthy of tears. It was soft. Breathtaking. Emotional. Close-knit.
